Boston University Video content
Currently I am the Assistant Director of Digital Media for the Athletics Department at Boston University. I create and oversee all photo and video content for the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs, the Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs, and the Women’s Softball program. My work ranges from season opener/playoff hype content, NCAA Championship content, and in game content, amongst other things. Take a look below to check some of it out!
Season and Playoff Hype
For the sports that I am media lead for, I create hype reels for social to create excitement for upcoming seasons, as well as additional videos for the start of playoffs. The goal of these videos is to entice fans to come watch our teams play, as well as showcase the hard work our teams have displayed throughout the season.
Women’s Soccer NCAA Championship
During the 2024 Women’s Soccer season, the team won the Patriot League Championship game which brought them to the NCAA Tournament in Austin, Texas. I traveled with the team to The University of Texas and documented the entire trip, leading to the creation of a lot of great social content to promote such a big event for the program and the university. Below is a range of videos, including a travel vlog, some long form storytelling videos of how the team made it to the NCAA Tournament, and some other sizzles to generate hype.
Working the entirety of the soccer season, these projects are especially rewarding to me as I was able to shoot all games throughout the season and the trip, and use my own footage in all of the promotional videos for this event.
2024 Holiday Video
A project I am extremely proud of is this past season’s Athletics Department holiday video. I was tasked with creating the video from start to finish, running point on storyboarding, scheduling, filming and editing the entire piece. It is definitely my most well rounded and intense project I have worked on to date, and it was very rewarding to work with so many teams and athletes throughout the creation of this piece!
